need head help!!

Okay so I'm putting an 89 Tpi set up on a high nickel 010 block which is bored .060 over. When I had my machine work done (boring) I told him I was gonna run 305 heads. So he got dished pistons so the compression wouldn't be too high. And like an idiot I didn't think too much into it and now I feel like the 305 heads won't breath enough to feed the 350. But I don't want to run 350 heads because I have dished pistons so it would drop compression down. I'd like to be running like 9.5:1 to 9.8:1 compression. Can i have the 1.94, 1.5 valves put into the 305 heads to help with airflow? And if so what should that run me cost wise?

You could buy Corvette 350 /ZZ4 alum heads that have the same 58cc chambers as your 305 heads, probably a better investment with more perf potential than spending $$$ on your heads?

Re: need head help!!

This head has 56cc chambers so your compression will be good. They flow 240cfm@ .500 lift.
