im lost
I have a 1991 pontiac Trans Am with a 350 tpi with 143xxx miles it sat for 6 years i replace.the fuel pump sending unit, fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors, map sensor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and cap. My problem is it will run fine in park then it will have a miss in drive then will bog down around 30mph what can be causing the problem i also already replace the 02 sensor
Re: im lost
A defective knock sensor I've seen cause this. I suspect if the base timing were off from the distributor getting rotated it would have a difficult time starting but you don't mention that. I have also seen a defective ignition module cause this. Over time the grease on the base of it deteriorates and causes it to overheat and fail.
I'd replace the ignition module and hook a laptop up to see what's really going on. Seeing things with a laptop will verify your base timing, your knock sensor, etc.
Have you verified your fuel pressure at the rail with a real gauge? Also did you recalibrate your TPS sensor just to be sure it's correct?

I would agree with checking the timing. You could also double check that you didn't accidently mess up your spark plug wire routing when you changed them. Here is a quick write up on adjusting the throttle position sensor and the iac valve as well. It wouldn't hurt to verify they are set correctly.

i agree with the two posts above,
can you pull any codes at all?
having the ability to hook a laptop up for diagnostics is a life saver, and pretty simple to accomplish

Check your fuel pump. If you don't have enough the car will go into what GM calls "Limp Home Mode" meaning it will only give you enough power to get to a garage and fix it!

14 1k is a lot. Maybe the timing chain is stretched. Time it correctly in park. Turn off the car, then remove the distributor cap next put a wrench on the crank pulley and see if the rotor spins as you turn the crank. If it has slop and is not tight it could be the problem.
