Granatelli MAF Sensor

Hello there, I was wondering if anybody here has used a Granatelli Mass air flow sensor? I think my sensor just went out and i found this good deal on a Granatelli. Is it a performance upgrade or simply a replacement? Thanks.

From what I gather the id of the housing is larger than oem Bosch. I have also been told it is the same as the microtech. I dont see a benifit unless on its adjustability it has a higher gps range. You will need a pretty stout stroker to need to go to a different maf and there is code change for $32B for a ford maf IIRC bye TequilaBoy .

Sucks to hear that. I found one on craigslist still in the original package for 150 and so i took the chance on it. I tested it and i cant really tell if it improved the performance since my trans lost 3d and overdrive. Im swapping in another trans out tonite and tomorrow so i should know by friday.

Re: Granatelli MAF Sensor

my understanding is this is one of those parts that you get after you are already fast (exceeding factory capabilities) not one that gives you any noticeable gaines. unless you are tuning, seems like thats the only way to get the aftermarkets to perform.
