TPI wiring question a quick one

I want to finish my TPI conversion, I have a factory harness but my car is originally a carbed 84 Z28 how many connections are there at the fuse block once I hook up the engine harness bulkhead connector? I've searched a couple times no avail, I have aftermarket gauges and all I really want is to get the engine running what are the minimum connections I need to make it happen?

First, don't plug the connectors together until you get a diagram for each.
You didn't say witch harness you got.
Some pins need to be removed, some added and some moved, most of the time.

Quick question. Cold start valve delete... Is it as easy as plug it off and swap with an 89 chip or is there more to it? Was thinking about doing it but don't want to mess up as my car is my daily driver.

Re: TPI wiring question a quick one

Looking at the original wiring harness that I removed from the firewall there seems to only be three wires in the TPI harness that don't match up with my firewall connector, te gauges I have in the car are all electrical and were wired into the original dash harness from the 84, so I'm hoping they all still do what they should, I do not have the aldl hooked up I have the original one for the car and the connector from the motor harness that connects to it should they plug and play nicely? I'll post pics in a bit

Re: TPI wiring question a quick one

I have a pink w black tracer, a purple, and a tan w white tracer, that have no homes they should go into my fuse panel but I'm not sure to what or what size fuse and my Haynes manual isn't much help the pink comes out of the top left of the connector, the purple is a small gauge and comes out if the middle left of the connector just below and to the right of the bolt that hold the connector in place and the tan come out if the bottom right, any help would be greatly appreciated as the car is my personal car and currently taking up a bay at my work

Re: TPI wiring question a quick one

Ok here is the pic of the connector in question, it is the engine side of the bulkhead connector I know not very clean, it is now tho, bottom left wide pin is the tan/white wire, small pin to the bottom left of the bolt is the purple, and the top right pin is the pink/blk, does anyone have a diagram for the connector??? It is an 87MAF setup thanks.
