10128374 on my LB9?
Hey folks,
I came across a pair of these heads today and I could purchase them if so inclined. They came off of a 'Vette that had a blown headgasket(s). My concern regarding this heads is warpage, but I looked them over and didn't see anything obvious for cracks or any severe warping. The car they came off of has 93,000 miles. Would these even work on my LB9? I have the plenum and runners from an '89 TPI 305, and also have the lower intake manifold from the '89 car as well if it was needed to install these heads...
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanx in Advance!
Also, he has a brand new Comp Cams cam for sale, in the box sealed, I will list the info off of the label as follows:
12-211-2
CS 270H-10
2013116
Cam Specs: INT EXH
ADV DUR ---- 270 270
DUR @ 0.50 - 224 224 ---- LOBE SEP 110.0
Valve Lift --- .470 .470

Re: 10128374 on my LB9?
The coolant flow in these heads is different, and some of the ports would need to be filled/closed (usually by welding shut). That process can also induce warping, so after the heads are stripped down, welded, machined flat, and the decks checked to be sure they are true, the heads can be reassembled and bolted on.

They are LT1 heads
Bolt on fine but need lots of work to function on non LT1 block

I am in the process of acquiring a set of the 113 casting Corvette heads. Thanks to everyone that responded.
