t p i high idle
hey guys,
it idles fine when i first start it,but after driving a few miles,the idle gets higher.
not real high,but the only thing i worry about is damage to the tranny,otherwise
i would be ok with it.any help appreciated.

Most Tpi throttle body blades create a edge in the bores and can't close all the way. If it is idling high look and see if accelerator linkage on throttle body is touching the idle speed stop screw

yes its touching the stop screw.if i turn it down,it will idle too slow after starting.

you should look up how to set minimum idle air speed on this site, then verify that the TPS is at the right voltage...
