062 Vortec heads

I have an 86 iroc with a 350 tpi swap and found a good deal on some 062 casting # Vortec heads. Any opinions? I know im going to need to change out my intake and was also wanting suggestions on that. Any info helps! Still learning..

If they are used have them checked to make sure they arent cracked before offering money for them. Magnaflux is the only way

If you need to keep your EGR functional, you will need an EGR install kit, that needs to be welded to the Passenger header. Use Vortec Specific intake bolts- they are a specified length to prevent gasket crush.

Do you know of anyone still selling a EGR kit? I was trying to help someone find one last night. Edelbrock's 2899 kit seems to be discontinued. As was the scoggin dickey TPI egr kit that went when gm discontinued the corvette L98 EGR pipe.
