Quick question guys. Has slp stopped making their tpi runners i cant seem to find them any where. Even looked on slp's web site and nothing.

 

They have been gone for a while. You can still find some ones that are in good shape on CL of ebay. A few weeks ago, someone had a "new" set on ebay, but I didnt really look at the price since I am not in the market for them

You locked into SLP? I have a set of semi-siamized aluminum large tube Arizona Speed and Marine runners coated in HPC satin black finish......?

 

No i wasnt locked into the slp just thought they would be easier to obtain. I'd perfer the as&m semi siamiezd like you have just thought finding a set of those would be harder to find. I've only seen them in magazines. How much would you have to have for them?

 

They are quite rare I had them on my 388 for years and they still look new. I have over $500 in them with the HPC satin black finish. They were carefully packed and off the car since 1999! I would let them go for $325 plus shipping. I also have fully ported and polished plenum gasket matched to runners with polished metal distributor cover. In addition, polished fuel rails with chromed plated adj fuel pressure regulator. If you send me your contact phone I can text pictures. These are all very high quality....they have not been stuck under a bench somewhere. Let me know, I'd be happy to send pictures. Actually, I also have the metal/chromed AS&M cold air intake with the KN filter. ALL well preserved!

wow, so these suddenly became "classic" parts? suitable for "period-correct" modifications? oh, excuse me, resto-mods. we're crossing over from hot rods to resto-mods. heaven-forbid, "numbers-matching".

 

Last i seen slp stuff on ebay was over 450$ newish set. Screw that! Thats near double what they were new in the day!
I guess its hard to find now so price jumps up

 

I hear Eddy will be discontinuing their TPI stuf also

At 450 for runners and 450 for base no wonder there are no sales for eddy stuff! Outrageous

 

I recall getting my Edelbrock base for about $350 from Summit, and the SLP runners for around $300. mebbe that was couple years back. and even at those prices, not an impulse purchase, had to save and budget for it.
