Whose using it? TPI Vortec base rear coolant crossover
The Vortec TPI intake base has a rear coolant crossover passage, and a 1/8" NPT port. Is anyone using it? Does anyone have a picture of theirs?
Since I don't have room for a spacer at the thermostat, I figure any unused port at the front will work (9th/CSI deleted leaves at least one available).

What are the benefits of using that passage?

Coolant circulation from the back of the heads. It is supposed to help prevent hot spots in the rear. If you believe, or need that kind of thing.
