Hey guys, I have a 1988 gta ,a new zz430 engine ,hsr intake 24lb hr. injectors ,msd 6al box ,it has about 1 hr. of run time why would the #5 header glow? I've switched injectors, plugs, checked valve lash, checked for vacuum leaks, checked injector pulse , set timing to 10 deg. I'm stumped !any suggestions?

 

Gotta be running lean in that one cylinder. Injector or vacuum leak.

 

Possibly a bad injector?

 

Inj hanging open and burning fuel in the exhaust?
Fuel psi regulator diafram ok? Not sucking fuel through the vac line?

 

Vacuum leak on that runner?

 

hey guys thank you for your suggestions, after a ton of time (money)I found out all cylinders would glow 5 was just first. so there is to much motor for hypertech chip (junk waste of 300.00)I order a custom prom will let you know how it turns out

 

A stock 350 chip is better than the hypercrap..
