Hello to all! I am new to the sight and may I say that you guys know your stuff!. I have a 89 Iroc with the L98 engine that I am trying to get started since it was obviously sitting for an extended time. I was replacing the fuel filter last Sunday and I twisted off the end of the hard line coming from the tank to the filter inlet.
Now I cannot install the new filter. Has anyone had this issue? I went to the auto parts store and have searched the web looking for this piece but have had no luck. Any input would be appreciated greatly.

It might be a good idle to get some new fuel lines. You can get new lines from places like Classic Tube. And if you decide to replace them you should also do the brake lines while your at it. And don't forget the rubber hoses.

I'd recommend replacing the lines, but brass crush fittings could be used for a patch.
Okay so it looks like I'll be replacing the lines to be safe. What manufacturer or distributor do you guys recommend? Classic Tube web site has no mention of prebent lines for f-body 3rd gens.

I have those lines- all of them that I removed from my 88 GTA when I LS1 swapped the car.
If you want them PM me. The only problem I can forsee is the shipping.
My lines were all in tact and are in very good shape other than needing the overspray from paint removed

Hi, I never got your PM
The rubber flex end goes toward the tank. The hard line goes to the inlet of the filter
Here is the part I am looking for.
I'd replace the lines.
