Injectors

Are these any good as a replacement for a stock Firebird 350 V-8 1988..?

Re: Injectors

Visit Southbay Fuel injectors and get the Bosch III injectors.

TPI should not have anything else but those. The ones pictured look like the factory multec injectors which are prone to failure and are absolute junk out of the box

They are Bosch injectors which work well. As long as they are the correct flow rate I'd use them.

Re: Injectors

I stand corrected. I didn't carefully read where it says "Upgrade 4 Hole Bosch Injectors
" in the listing. A stock firebird with a 350 TPI needs a flow rate of 22 lbs.

Re: Injectors

I send the Ebayer an email, and they replied: "21lbs, interchangeable with stock 22lbs"...

Would that make any difference..??

Are the 22lbs Bosch III injectors by South Bay a direct replacement for the stock injectors?

(Btw,how do I get the 10% TG member discount of during ordering...?)

There really is no difference between a 21 and 22lb injector. A small difference like that would never effect the perfomance of your car. Can these yellow tops be rated at 21lb? There is such a grey area when it comes to injectors. Depends on who flow tests them. We've been selling them as 19's for years, we will not sell them as 22's. If someone needs a 22lb injector we just recommend going with the bosch llls

These guys are the best in the business. I tried the Bosch III when I had TPI and loved the difference so much, when I converted to LS1 and got stuck with rusted injectors (which the seller neglected to tell me about), I talked to southbay and got the proper replacement. The engine has been happy ever since. (And so have I)

Wise choice. Southbay is top notch, and if there are any problems, there is no question they will stand behind their products.
