engine: 350 TPI one out of my 92 Z28
i'm fully rebuilding it using pretty much stock parts (summit rebuild kit)
i'm going with a LITTLE more agressive cam than the stock profile, not much though...
and doing a very minor port/polish cleanup on the heads as well as rebuilding them...
the pistons in my engine are hypereutics.

do you think if i have intake ported as well, AFPR, the slightly bigger cam, and minor port/polish heads I can get 275hp out of the L98 ?

oh and it already has hooker catback exhaust with cats. removed. i'm going to do TB bypass and remove smog stuff.

I would think so. On my Iroc before my rebuild, on a chassis dyno, it made 211 RWHP and 284 lbs TQ. So I figure that's aout 260 HP at the flywheel. I basically have the same mods on the engine and exhaust as you except I don't have a cat back system, and I didn't port and polish the heads or intake. My cats are gutted with a Flowmaster. I'd show my signature, but someone bitched at me the other day about it. It lists everything I've done to the car.

I also forgot to mention I have K&N, the transmission has been rebuilt with 2400rpm torque converter, corvette servo, transgo shift kit. it also has msd plug wires and all the minor goodies.

so i'm thinking around 275hp to the flywheel wooohoo!
then i'm going to do headers followed by a 100hp shot of nitrous.

man this summer is going to be a blast... motivates me to get my *** to work.

Anyone else wanna give some feedback?

Oh i have a question for everyone! If you could upgrade anything valvetrain wise besides cam what would it be... this is with a student's budget.

also if you could upgrade one internal part what would it be? rods? rod bolts? polish crank?

I'd get a good set of roller rockers. I personally use Crane Gold 1.5s.
