ADS Supership?

Does anyone have this one? I think it's the street version. I won't be able to install it till the spring so I'm wondering what kinda results I should expect.

I do not recommend those chips. You will get more out of tweaking your existing setup than using an off the shelf chip like that. Check out the DIY Prom board. There are a lot of better options out there.

I had one on my car (before I got into eprom burning). It actually hurt my car's performance and when I looked inside the eprom I saw why. First, the Superchip did VERY LITTLE (a little extra fuel, a little extra spark and locked the TCC a few MPHs higher).

What made it bad, was the changes to the both the fuel and spark tables. They screwed up some of the settings and if you "graphed" the tables, it looked liked "waves on an ocean". After I tuned my eprom, it now has a Fuel Table that has a direct relationship to the VE% and makes more sense. Also, my 20-70 mph times (how I compare various BINs for performance) decreased by over .3 seconds (with my tuned eprom).

YES, you can get some noticeable performance increases even on a basically stock engine with proper tuning of the eprom. In fact, the BEST time to start burning your own eprom is when your engine is still basically stock. I currently have over 2,000 differences between my stock eprom and my currently optimized eprom My ADS only had about 50 differences and they weren't good changes.
