Custom TPI Harness Pics
Custom TPI Harness Pics
I just finished building a 1227727 TPI harness and thought it would be cool to share a few pics. The TPI Harness includes 700R4 wiring. The harness is for a TPI powered full size Chevy Pickup. The computer will be mounted near the passenger side front headlight, which is why there is about 5' 6" of length from the computer to the rear of the TPI manifold. The harness includes a Heated O2 Sensor Connector, Park Switch, SES, and Brake Switch wiring which makes for a nearly painless installation!
Enjoy,

Very nice! I'm going to be needing something like that soon for my son's LG4 '87 El Camino...we're going to put a TPI system he recently bought on the car.

Forgive me, I haven't used a 727, which I had understood to be the underwood sibling to the '730.
Are you talking connector shells and terminals being difficult to source?

Yes, ANY and ALL the parts that are required to connect to the 1227727 are difficult to source.

The actual connector pins that are crimped onto the wire and inserted into the connector are not readily available or easy to find! The harness I posted pictures of has All New Parts, including the hard to find connector pins.
I would build another TPI harness like the one I posted pictures of, if the individual wanting the 7727 harness built has the new connector pins.

Oh yes, I know what you mean about the differences in pin locations between the Corvette and V6 plugs. I did use a V6 harness on a non-emission V8 vehicle, and I remember I did have to relocate one pin to make it work. I enjoyed the project, and it worked well, but I did not have the nice fuse/relay holder you used. Nice work sourcing all the parts you did.
