Dyno runs cost?

Once I get this 160 BLM problem resolved (with new eprom changes to the fuel maps) I want to get my 406 dynoed............just want some ideas on what a typical dyno session costs in your area, and how many pulls you get for the price.

TIA

$55 per pull here is the typical. The place I deal with will give you three runs with some time to do tuning for $125. They have a dyno jet with the a/f sensors.

There's a place in Dallas that charges $30 per run on tuesdays only, otherwise it's like $175 a day or $125 half a day.

Huh, around here, for just measurement, no tuning, 3 pulls for 50 is the norm...

Same price in Belmont N.C. seems pretty fair all things considered.

Precision Dyno is the place and sometimes they give group rates of like $45 for 3 pulls, if it's a group or maybe $600 for a club to rent for the whole day.

do you know where in Dallas? There used to be a shop called Dynotek here in Garland, but they shut down a lil' over a year ago. Was that the place in Dallas you were thinking of?

Check the cascade crew board. Next weekend theres a gathering in vancouver wa. Saturday is group dyno day. $50 for 3 runs. If you can get her fixed up by then you might save some money.

Won't go near a dyno, push the truck, or go over 4000 rpm with the current reading, believe me. The chip we are working on to fix this problem, am in the midst of a skunkworks chip testing program with a couple of local guys and this one was (obviously) not right. Put a different one in this morning, BLM's are about 136 +/- during normal driving, 128 at idle, etc. This is why I am getting into doing my own eprom burning, as it takes this guy forever to modify stuff and somehow gets things that were fine mixed up. And no, this is not my engine builder.

Changed plugs two weeks ago, they looked fine. This 160 reading was a short term issue and duration very short, and gone now.

In Scarborough, Dyno Power Services...is there nothing around your area? I'll be making several trips to the dyno this spring, so you're welcome to join me. I'll keep you posted.
