From which manufacturer are these? TPI injectors...

They installed new injectors for my 1987 GTA 350 TPI. From which manufacturer are these?

Here is a pic...
Does anyone know these?

Those look like the Lucas/Accel/Sold under many brand names, injectors.

Plain old parts store OE style replacement injectors I would say. As said - sold under many names. Don't look special.

Does it matter? Do they work?

Yes, the work fine.

Are the Bosch better than the Lucas? Original was the Bosch equipment.

The originals were Rochester Multec Injectors. Just about anything is better than those.

87 wouldn't have had Multecs, they didn't come around until later.

It really doesn't matter as long as the specifications, physical size, and connectors match. GM used injectors from at least three different manufacturers between 85-92. They all work. Some in theory might give slightly better spray patterns than others, but it's really debatable that anyone could ever tell the difference from behind the wheel.

Can anyone recommend a good set of replacement injectors for a 5.7, that comes with good documentation for programming the ECU (battery offset etc)? Hopefully around 100-150 bucks.

I doubt you will find anything with accurate programming offsets in that price range.

The stock replacement Bosch III injectors from Southbay work pretty well with the factory offsets.

Re: From which manufacturer are these? TPI injectors...

Are most injectors these days remanufactured - at least in that price range?
The TPI setup is going in my 95 truck. The rail has 19LB injectors, so I thought before I installed the rail this or next weekend I would swap injectors for convenience, but if there isnt really much of a difference between 305 and 350 injectors, then I can just leave them alone, and at least get the truck programmed and running right, then maybe later swap injectors later.

19#hr can be made to work with a 350 with datalogging to see where the blm is at. Most likely lean. You would be better off starting out with 22#hr injectors and a stock tune for starter. Then If you have a cam and different heads datalog and tune from there.
Not sure if you have thought through the vss and if this is tpi maf or sd and if you have a Drac or not. You can wire a drac to a 730 through a optical input c6 or directly to a 165 thought the 2k ppm input. If your using the optical input and a drac 2k ppm to the 730 programming will need to be changed from magnetic pulse to optical.

Re: From which manufacturer are these? TPI injectors...

Its a 95 with the factory 16197427 computer and 4l60e, I'm not using a 3rd gen computer. So i dont think there will be an issue with the trans.
Its SD. Once I get a couple remaining parts, just following these instructions setting the computer from TBI to CPI.
I dont have heads and cam for this motor yet. It has 180k on it and I dont think its worth it right now. My thought process was if i could at least get the EFI part of it working, especially with all of the other modifications needed just to get it to fit correctly, then ill do a rebuild later next year. But at least i know, cool I got TPI to work on the truck which i always wanted.
