Anyone using Fastburn Heads with TPI?
I want to get these Head and also need to know what intake to get. I want to keep a TPI set up . Thanks for any info.
you have to Have the SDPC base or you HAve to modify your stock base. Ive done it both ways now and if you have a lot of cam and the fast burns then buy the SDPC base with vortec heads and a mild cam mod yours to work. Just so you know that base is 400 you can check it out at SDPC2000.com

Would the Edelbrock High Flow TPI Baseplate be just as good as the Vortec? Its only $334. Will it work with Fastburn heads and L98 block? thanks for any info. Timbo
Edlbrock make the SDPC vortec base for them. the Standard edlpbrock tpi base will not work with the heads I you set the standred edlbrock tpi base on my engine you will see abought a 1/8 in of the itake ports of the heads past the base. I use to have a few pics of this but my house burnt down so I no longer have them but I do have a engine on a stand out of a 97 GM truck I think I have a stock tpi base still If I do I will take a pic so you can see what Im talking a bought.
