Hi people, new here, i have read every post here about my issue and i haven't found a good answer.

I recently bought a 89 iroc-z, just for fun, may be flip it (excuse for my wife), its the 5.7 tpi, first time putting my hands on a third gen.
PROBLEM
The car wont start, not even try to, same as usual, if you pour starting fluid through the intake it STARTS, sometimes backfires and gets on fire, and dies if you don't keep feeding starting fluid to it.
the fuel pump starts when you move the key, i think is stops when you crank the engine, vats was off, i found the resistor bypass and reconnect it, i can crank the engine from the key now. There is pressure on the rails, just tapped the valve on top of the rail, today i should get the gauge to measure exact pressure.
It has spark, i have tested a few cables and i have spark, spark plugs look new.
Injector cables are hot when key in run position, both, when cranking the engine the test light dims a little, can't say if it has pulse, at least i can't see it, i should also get the NOID light today.
tested TPS, 0.25 closed, 4.5 open, smooth.
tested computer ground, it has ground on the case.

Reading here (a lot), these are my suspects:
bad injector shutting down computer, will test injectors ohms this weekend.
CTS not sure if the computer kill injectors because of this, some people here say it does, others that it does not.
pick up coil: not sure if i can have spark with this bad
OPS not sure if the computer kill injectors when no oil pressure detected, some people here say it does, others that it does not.
weird vats that is HALF BROKEN, relay works but no injectors...
