Different tpi harnesses?

Engine: 5.7L TBI
Transmission: t-5 from 85 T/A
Different tpi harnesses?
I currently did a 350 swap into a 88 tpi car. im keeping the tpi but the harness had been mutilated, so i bought another harness. I now have 3 harnesses but the two ive bought now are different. they are for a tpi but the firewall connector next to the brake booster is on a separate harness. The 88 i have is all one harness. feeling a little confused. anyone have any advice?

Yes, there are different harnesses, depending on the year of the car. You should be able to change the terminals and get it re-pinned to what you need though
