Another overheating problem
It's on my '87 IROC. I installed a lower degree thermostat and flushed the cooling system. It doesnt take long for the car to start boiling the coolant on a warm day just idling! I havnt checked the lower hose yet to see if it has a spring in it but it is an aftermarket hose on both the upper and lower. The A/C is gone along with the smog pump equipment. Ive checked the timing too and it's within specs. I'm going to install a high performance water pump and a 3 core radiator in it anyways. I work at autozone so I can get all this stuff cheap
. Also the fans are wired to the ignition so they run all the time while the ignition is on. Do you think that installing these items will help the situation out or not? Any input will be greatfully appreciated!

I would say that you have some sort of block in your cooling system somewhere. its kinda are to say though, but if your fans are running all the time and it still overheats somethings up with that.
