305 TPI to 350 TPI

I've got a 1989 IROCZ with a 305 TPI engine. I just purchased a used 350 long block for $100.00. The number stamped on the block is 14093638. I would like to rebuild the 350 and install the TPI setup from the 305 on it. Has anyone ever done this? If so, was there a noticeable HP gain? Thanks.

I believe this has been done once or twice in the past. A search of the board archives may reveal a couple threads detailing what is necessary.

Multiply all those by about 5-6 orders of magnitude, and be prepared to do a little reading.

Thanks. I've ordered a book on TPI swaps. I'm going to do some research to see what all is involved.
