I have a 89 Camaro with 305 TPI. When driving will shut off like key was turned off or surge before it shuts off. New distributor, fuel pump relay, oil pressure switch, Bosch 3 injectors, idle air control.

Sometimes will fire right back up others have to wait 5 mins or so. Problems started happening before changing everything.

Even with new fuel pump relay get intermittent code for low voltage to fuel pump. ECM flashes code 12.

Happens a lot when letting off throttle or slowing down.

Any suggestions would be great.

 

It will be helpful to monitor the basics, such as power to the ECM and fuel pump. This can help identify potential problems such as a failing ignition switch, intermittent contact at the bulkhead connector, failing fuse links, etc.
