Hey all, new member first post. I am having some issues with the PCV system on my 89 TPI. The Emissions have been deleted on my motor. If I leave the passenger side PCV hooked up to the upper port on the throttle body, it will build up an insane amount of condensation and oil sludge. There is not enough vacuum at that port to pull the blow by gases into the theottle body. Is there any harm in routing the PCV to the vacuum port just below the upper port on the throttle body? This port has good vacuum (I believe it used to run to a vacuum canister or vapor tank) and truck runs better with PCV plumbed into that port. I am just concerned that it may be too much vacuum and suck in more oil than vapor? Thoughts? The PCV just doesn’t seem to work on the upper port it’s supposed to go to, the gasket is good on the top plate of TB and PCV valave is new. All vacuum lines hooked up, have checked for leaks and have found none. Photo is with PCV routed to upper port. Yes there is a PCV valve inside what looks like a breather on the valve cover.
