EGR delete?

Are there any advantages for deleting the EGR? I have a 1991 Z28 with a 305 and was just wondering. I don't have to go through emissions and the car has a 5 speed.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

Re: EGR delete?

Egr lowers combustion temperatures, unless the solenoid is giving you problems. It’s probably best to leave alone.
