Random Stalling, and Delayed Start

Hello everybody,

So I have conquered my code 33 issue. As always, weak links begin appearing elsewhere.

I have had about three instances in the past week, where out of nowhere, generally while the clutch is depressed, the car just shuts off. No sputtering, no signals, no CEL, it just shuts off.

It generally starts right back up... Obviously this is a problem, as it did happen to me once while turning off a main road. Caught my by surprise, and of course the power steering was no more. Started her back up and was fine.

Also, while going to cold start my car, I generally have to turn the key 2 or 3 times before it starts, but it will run and idle fine after starting.

Are these issues potentially related? Where should I start?

Are you pushing clutch in at idle or otherwise when problem occurs? If at idle, symptoms point to injectors of lack of good fuel pressure. Try starting while pump is priming. Does is start faster?

It doesn't seem to start any faster... I do hear a wine from my fuel pump when it's running though. Is that normal?

The injectors have probably never been replaced ... would a fuel pressure test be a good idea?

The first time it stalled it seemed to happen when out of gear and turning.

Though it did shut off on me while idling and waiting to go into a parking garage...

Whine from pump not necessarily good. Pressure check definitely! Must do. If original Factory Multec injectors, they're shot. They may ohm out ok and seem like running ok, but any stress or at idle, not ok.
