What converter should I go with?

I am new to the page. I have 1990 Iroc-Z 5.7L. I have a Comp Cams 08-302-8 cam in it. I was wondering what torque converter I should go with and what brand?

Thanks

Re: What converter should I go with?

Id go with a 2500 rpm converter. With the torque of your engine, itll probably stall around 2300.

Itll drive completely like stock until you punch it.

I have a 2500 in my car with a slightly bigger cam and its absolutely perfect.

Is there a brand you would recommend?
