Are these saimesed runners SLP?

On Saturday evening while drinking beer, thinking thirdgen thoughts, and browsing Facebook Marketplace I happened across a "complete" TPI setup about an hour East of me in Omaha. Messaged the guy and he replied that he would take $250 for the lot and that we could meet at 2pm on Sunday. Sunday morning he messaged again and asked if I could meet him at noon instead and I agreed ans headed out.

This is what $250 gets you apparently... Complete intake base with siamesed runners, ECU, extra PROM, complete harness, distributor, coil, extra cap, NOS fan motor, chrome timing chain cover, and a 1986 Firebird shop manual...

My question is what brand of runners are these? I don't see any part number other then the "BB" on the back.

The reason the guy was selling it was because it was on an '87 Regal he bought, and he didn't like the look of the TPI... When I met him he asked if there was something special about the setup because I was the first of fifteen people to message him. After I paid him and loaded everything up I explained that if the runners are the SLP ones I think they are, that just the runners are selling for $400+ on eBay.

Lesson to be learned is to research your parts...

I bought a full Big Mouth TPI top to bottom plus extras in very similar fashion. In fact may have score an even better deal in the long run 😂

Super clean as well. Hated to part with it when I did but it worked out well lol

They look like the SLP runners. I have them on my 87 Monte Carlo SS with TPI.

Thanks that's what I thought, but I have never had a set in my hands to actually look them over. I was pretty sure they were SLP and not the Accel or Holley ones. I actually don't even care if they flow better then the stock ones, I just think they look badass!

Yes, just like the ones I had on my 86 that were purchased around 1998.

Just like the 2 sets of SLPs I have had. Scored one set on a complete 305 Vortec engine. 059 heads and the 3817 manifold. Running engine for $350.

Had them on my old G20 Van.

These are going on to the Vortec 350 in my '87 IROC!
