91 runs rough and dies
Hey there, as a description as what it is doing, my car would run up until operating temperature 180°F and then it would die, if I tried to start it it would chop and run really rough and then die, after I allowed it to cool down for 30min it would start again, I read that the fuel pressure regulator could be at fault and so I replaced it, I have now run the car around for a few hours and it has been idling weird, idling high and then when I adjusted it down it would die, then finally even after I backed the idle screw all the way out it would still run at around 1600 RPM so I shut it off and reset my idle air control valve sensor, (turned key, unplugged, turned off key, plugged in) now it is back to square one of choppy idling and dieing. What do I need to do? Has this happened to anyone? (P.S. I sprayed starting fluid around all of my vacuum lines to check for a leak as far as the high idle goes)

Does it have the original injs? If so, ohm them cold then hot.
Check fuel psi and make sure it's within spec.
Have to figure out if it's loosing fuel or spark, then figure out why.
