L98 Rebuild- Next Steps- Roller Rockers-Valve covers
Well, I just had something happened that seemed unlikely. My Crower cam came in early from Summit (projected to be mid-July). So on to the next steps. I need some advice on valve covers and roller rockers (AFR Enforcer Heads). I have heard that the large tube runners cannot be installed after the valve covers, is this correct? I was thinking about 1.6:1 roller rockets Comp pro magnum roller rockers. I heard this is possible under centerbolt valve covers but some clearancing is necessary. Any recommendations for valve covers?
As always, I appreciate the vast wisdom of the Thirgen crew!

Re: L98 Rebuild- Next Steps- Roller Rockers-Valve covers
I managed to fit Comp Pro Magnums under my stock centre bolt valve covers. It was necessary to trim the bolt brace to clear the rocker trunnion. Not much. Maybe 1/16th either side.
I went with the Proform cast aluminum covers after that. The oil baffle made contact with the rocker body as well and needed a little trimming.
Sealing those covers was problematic and there are various accounts as to why. At any rate, I RTV'd a silicone gasket to the cover and have been leak free ever since.
I've had to remove the valve covers anytime I've done an intake swap so I'd guess that the same applies to whatever version of TPI you're using.
