S_AUJP version 7 with a supercharger question

The Read Me file for S_AUJP v7 states that since this code was developed for turbocharger applications, there are no tables for boost below 1600 RPM
and should that condition occur, that there are fail safes built into the code. My question is, if one attempted to use S_AUJP v7 in a super charged setup, what actually happens if there is boost below 1600 RPM?

P.S. I have experience tuning my 1990 L98 Vette, but supercharging is a whole new ballgame that I am approaching with fear, trepidation and more than a little respect for people that have done it.
Been pouring over the forums, reading just about everything that is germane to the subject, for quite a while now.
I have been accumulating the hardware to build up a Supercharged Studebaker 289 with TPI using the 1227730 ecm. I am awestruck by S_AUJP v7, My hat is off to 84Elky.

Thanks

As particular as i am about how the car runs, I literally would not have my Miniram still on the car if it wasn't for Elky, RBob, Sbformula, and several others here who share their wealth of knowledge and expertise with us laymen.

Re: S_AUJP version 7 with a supercharger question

I dont see it getting boost at 1600. I would not want any boost below 3000 imo but i never had a blower or tuned a stock engine blower car. Only procharged setup i played with was on a tpi 383 and it had boost immediately at 3000-3200. Didnt try pulling any lower than that, its not a good idea to lug a motor like that.

All you can try to do, is maybe have timing out in that 100 kpa 1600-2000 rpm area. Have the ve table command richer there. I have not looked at the boosted $8D stuff or v7 s aujp. If there are failsafes in code it may be same effect on a blower car, as in some sort if ignition timing retard or fuel enrichment. Either way i dont think it will make boost below 1600.

Orr89RocZ, SbFormula,

Thanks for the replies. I too do not want to have boost down that low, the blower manifold has a bypass valve that I need to control, But the fear and trepidation makes me ask such questions.

Thanks again
