EGR valve delete TPI

Hi, I have a 1991 5.7 TPI speed density, and would like to delete the EGR valve, I have fitted a blank plate, do I have to get the ecm modified, Thanks for any advice

Don’t have to but pulling the solenoid could result in a code 32.
