my turn.... is this a recipe for success?

i am looking to get in on the G/P for the vortech heads and all. I am looking to get my little beater low 13's, maybe high 12's. Is this realistic? The cam i am getting is a 211/219, 499/525@1.5, 112. This i know is a very good grind, as i have watched it pull a 91 Z28 5.7 auto 13.6@102 consistently. I am looking for bang for the buck , but don't want to sell myself short either. I have about a grand saved up, so now is the time to make my move. Thanks to all,

If you want bang for the buck, vortecs are the way to go. Sure you could spend another grand on cylinder heads alone but what for? A ltr tpi just won't be able to maximize the gains possible with other high flow aluminum cylinder heads.
Tuned port injection hasn't been used for 10 years. Now somebody is willing to produce a tpi intake compatible with the vortecs. This should tell you how good the combo is, not to mention value for the dollar.
I have a mini-ram and AFRs. I like the setup, but you could save two grand and not really leave alot on the table. If I were gonna do it all over....

Go with the 219/219 cam. It's more aggressive than the 211/219. I've got one in a 383, and it's mild. No problem in a 350.
