About half the time, when I start my GTA, it starts fine, and does its little fast idle thing. The other half of the time, it could be ice cold, and first thing in the morning when I go to start the car, it idles at about 500-700 and sounds like it wants to crap out and die. How can I get my car to warm up properly again?

 

Put a scanner on it?


Try cleaning your tps maybe

Did you do a coolant bypass?

Oh damn, sorry about that, real old sig.
The car is an '89 GTA L98 ragtop. The motor is stock but with the MSD, accel coil, TB airfoil, k+n filter, but the problem was there before any of the bolt-ons. There is no coolant bypass either.
