I'm new at TPI what mods are best???

I need bang for the buck! This GTA is all stock except for headers. It has a lot of torque, but I think my 305 TBI would beat it as is! My 305 is modded out though. Since the GTA has the stock GM exaust and a crappy homemade Y-pipe, I'm going to do an aftermarket Y-pipe + hollow cat + good cat back system. Then I guess a homemade cold air system. I also am putting the accel supper coil, taylor wires, and underdive pulleys on it from my camaro. How about a stage II chip, 180* stat, cool fan switch, TPI air foil(is is worth it?), and 1.6 rockers??? Steer me in the right direction guys, thanks!!!

Also, I have a post on the exaust forum, I need a Y-pipe that is for hooker emissions headers, does hooker make it? If so, how bout a p/n?

get a Adj Fuel Press Regulator...good for a few hp and for tuning as you add more bolt-ons. Factory should be around 42psi...run 50-55 as a starting point.

I have all these mods in my car and as far as bang for the buck they are not really worth it. They do some good sure, but go for higher psi injectors, good exhaust, K&N's, and higher capacity fuel pump, with that you should notice a difference, and they aren't that expensive.

Best for the dollar will be a cam or TC, then heads, exhaust, and so on.

New to site, so hey everyone .I would agree on a cam swap like the zz4 and a good flowing exhaust system like Flowmaster american thunder kit. It worked great on my 92 Z28 .

I have 2.77 gears, I don't wanna do a cam until I have gears. Also, I have a 400 hp short block in my garage with the ZZ3 cam that I will put in when the L98 is DOA.
