A 2000 Mercury Sable? Stay away from it or put $2000 in a piggy
bank to pay for the tranny that is going to go out in a little while.

 

why do you say the tranny's going to go out? did you run the VIN or are they known for that?

 

Did not run the VIN. Look at my name, thats what I do. Heavy
mechanical. I have put more tranny's in Taurus and Sable cars
than any other vehicle. I think I can almost do them blindfolded.

Also Ford 3.8 motors and head gaskets, shi*, don't even get me
started.

 

This is not a technical question. This is also not a forum for dishonest practices. Pay the $20 or whatever for the carfax report, or do without.
