This is an 86 tpi trans am
1. where does the neg. cable from the battery bolt to ?? I can remember for the life of me.
2. does anyone know what color and how many wires bolt to the starter
3. and for the alt.

uhhh i thought the negative cable bolted to somewhere on the block,like a bolt.I dont know if its different for TPI or not.

 

my negative battery cable bolts to the closest header bolt to the batter.

 

you should have 3 wires on the big lug of the starter and one on the small lug labled S

the battery should go to the block. so long as its a good gnd. it will not mater where you put it. also be sure the engine is grounded to the frame also
