How to start a high powered TPI engine

Hi...

Ever since I started to modify my engine its kinda hard to start when its warm. With my setup today I'll have to have 25-35% throttle to make it start otherwise its justs cranks and cranks...

Anybody elsa have this problem or know whats causing it?

How far advanced is your timing? That's something else to consider....way advanced will cause hard starting problems.

The big question is: does it crank slowly, does it crank freely and not catch, or something else?

I would guess you have leaking injectors that flood the engine when it is warm and sits for a few minutes. By giving the car 25% throttle you are allowing the gas to clear out and the car starts. Does the car start fine when its cold? Does the car restart fine when its warm and you shut it off and then immediately restart it? If these questions can be answered with a yes, then I believe you have leaking injectors.
