shift kit installed problems... help
ok.. now I regret having a transgo kit installed in my 700r4 that was rebuilt 6000km's ago.. and was working fine.. I just wanted it to shift harder..
I went ahead and had spoke to pro built and he sent me all the nescessary parts & instructions..
I had a local guy which supposibly new what he was doing .. install it for me.. we go out for a test drive and it shifts nice and firm.. goes through all gears no problem..
until you mash the pedal to the floor it's like putting it in newtral.. just winds up to 5000+rpms.. almost seemed like it was going to catch after 5000 but I wasent' going to try it.. downshift is fine on decelaration.. 2-1 shift is not noticable anymore..
we checked the fluid and tv cable and everything is fine..
he did tell me that the hole that the instructions say to plug didn't exist so he couldn't plug it.. now I spoke to pro built(thanks a lot for the support Dana) and Dana said that that hole should always be there.. so now I'm wondering if that is the problem.
I guess I won't sleep tonight.. it's 12:30AM here right now.. and we are three hours ahead of california.. which means the guy that did this won't be able to call Dana t'ill 2:00Pm our time..
errhhh...

Depending on the kit. I'm looking at the instructions for the transgo 2&3 kit. It has you plug 9 holes in the entire install process. I give up, which one are you talking about.
BTW here a ttt for ya!!!
