Hooking up tranny cooler, the saga continues...

OK, i had everything i thought i needed to hook up my tranny cooler with braided line. Until my dumb *** realized that AN was not normal flar and that i will now need to get some AN to pipe adapters to interface my cooler and stock hard lines. On top of that, i also have no idea how to get the ends on the braided line.

Thus, i'm ready to call that a lesson learned and just do my cooler in hard line. My question is, is brass tubing OK to use. I can't think of any reason why not but i figure i'll just check. I can get the brass tube i need and flare nuts for cheaper than the new adapter fittings i need, and flaring and bending it is gravy.

thanks for any comments...

I don't know of any reason why brass fittings would'nt work-hell guys use them for fuel lines and that's pretty corrosive. I ran into kinda the same problem hooking up my line lock-our cars have those stupid bubble flares and nobody in town had adapters to change it to normal 3/16" brake line and flare fittings. So I got out the tubing cutter and put double flare fitting on everthing (except rear-I'll do that when I put that line lock in) At least now I can get parts (if needed) at any parts store.
