Just thought I'd post this up. As I was driving down the street from my house I shift to 2nd gear and it grinded like a motherfu**** It goes in all other gears fine but just not in 2nd. Has anyone else had this problem?

A few of my friends tell me I'm low on tranny fluid or a synchro is ****ed. What'd you peeps think?

 

I agree that your synchros are gone. I had a five speed in my S-10 V-6 that did that. After awhile I went to grab second during a street race, there was a bang, some grinding and second gear was gone. When the dealer rebuilt the tranny they said that the synchros had gone bye bye.
