Engine oil in my WC T5.
Bought the car couple years ago and when i changed the tranny fluid i came across some type of engine oil.
I know that this tranny should have ATF (as per big orange sticker on it that says ATF only)
So i drained the engine oil as much as i could and put in a new ATF.
My question is "After how long should i change the fluid again" Obviously there was still some engine oil left in there so should i change it very soon?
What do you guys suggest?
Also what is that electrical connection at the tranny?
Thanks.

You should change it a few times to get all the motor oil out of it. The W/C T-5 blocking ring uses a paper lining on the inner cone surface which mates with the speed gears cone surface. This lining acts kinda like an auto. trans. clutch friction plate. the motor oil attacks the adhesive that holds the paper lining to the blocking ring, so i would change it till it comes out clean. The clearances in the tranny are smaller as well to make up for the thin trans fluid so i hope your bearings and gears are ok. keep me posted
