How do I take out axle shaft on BW 9 bolt? Please help NOW!!

I took the cover off cuz I was ready to fly but the diff looks different than the one I did before.

There are two caps that look like crank journal caps on each side of the diff. I can't see where there is a C clip or something to slide the axle shaft out. I figure that maybe I take off the cap on the side I want to remove and that maybe the clip will be under it or something. I can see that the caps hold bearings and the diff in place.

If anyone knows what I need to do please write back by tonight. I am taking the axle to the machine shop to be repaired tomorrow morning. I don't want to be without my daily driver for long.

Thanks guys.

It's the 2.77 rear with 7.75" ring gear. Code J65

You don't have to take the rear cover off on a 9 bolt, because it does not have c clips. Just remove the tire, brakes and rotor. Then remove the 4 bolts that hold on the axle flange. The axle will then slide out (may need a small slide hammer).
