Best TH350 performance kit?

I have a th350 I am going to install in my camaro behind a 400hp 350. Looking at B&M High Performance Street kit. Is this a good kit for improving the shifts? Is there a better one that anyone recommends?

Are you looking for a complete rebuild kit?, or just the Shift kit? If you are looking to improve the shift, then the Trans-Go Shift kit is the only way to go! If I can be of help?, let me know.

yes, I am just wanting the shift kit. I just got the Turbo350 pulled this morning. It is still in good shape so I am only going to add the kit to it. Are there any tricks to adding the kit or is it pretty simple? Also, are there any other quick upgrades besides a complete rebuild to improve the performance?

You could add the low/reverse turbulator (low drag) steels, the hollowed out sun shell (very light in weight), and the Trans-Go Shift kit (HD or Street/Strip). Make sure you run a good 10" torque converter (A.C.T., Continental, Precision Industries). When do you want the Shift Kit?

slight change of plans here, after looking at the tranny and thinking something wasn't quite right, I looked up the numbers and find that it is the THM200. Needless to say, it is not going to be used.

Now I have a question for you Pro Built Automatics, is it possible to make my 700R4 capable of handling more power? I have the one that was in my car which is bad, an extra in the garage which is still in great shape. Do I need to rebuild with stronger components or is it even worth it?

What are the years of the units you are talking about? The 700R4 can be setup to take about 500-550 horsepower maximum without some major modifications. You will need the 9.5" torque converter from A.C.T. or the Vigilante to get it to take this kind of HP & live. With the stock 12" of any stall will start to break parts when you get near 450 HP. Let me know what you have and what you are planning?

I have a 350 w/ the following mods:
bored .030 w/ .030 pistons
ported and polished chevy 2.02/1.60 64cc heads.
Edelbrock:RPM cam, RPM Intake 750cfm carb, timing chain
Hedman Hedders and Y-pipe running into 3" Super turbo muffler

Those are the main mods besides the usual fuel pump, distributer, etc.

I am going to use this mostly as a street rod. I am looking at a new converter now. Is there a web site to the one you recommend? I am also going to replace the rear end gears...not sure to what yet. I want to maintain highway driveability yet drop my 1/4 mile time.

The 700R4 that went out is an 85. The good one is an 84. I have the good one installed right now just so I can drive it on the weekends. What are your suggestions? Do you sell most of the stuff I will need? The shift kit, converter, rebuild kit possibly? If so do you have a site?
