Anyone with tranny knowledge.........

Topic says it all...........does shifting manualy hurt anything....Nothing wrong with my tranny but I just love to shift it......................btw tranny is a TCI with a hell of a shift kit and a vett servo......and a vett stall......

Ok thanks for the reply, I didn't know......someone told me that it will burn up faster if you shift it.

If you have an early 700 (early '80's) when they are in Man1/2 the pressure is actually lower than at WOT (in fact, part throttle) so I would NOT do it on one of those. I pressty much manually shift any automatic if the situation calls for it but otherwise I prefer to leave it alone.
