need help wiring t56 into 700r4 89 auto car

Does anyone know how to wire the t56 into an automatic 1989 camaro? Thier are four wires off the auto shifter that need to be hooked up. What are the colors of the wires and where do they go on the t56?

This is the last thing I have to hook up before I can start the car.
thanks.

the purple and yellow wires, the two thickest, go to the clutch safety switch - you can temporarily just connect them together so you car will start. At first I just used a short piece of wire and spade terminal ends and stuck them into the auto shifter socket.

The blue and green wired got to your back-up lights and aren't necessary to start your car.

I would look into getting a PROM for a manal based car if yoy haven't thought of that.

Hey James,
I wasn't aware that I needed a manual prom. What is the difference? I have a prom done by tpis, for my old 700r4 and zz4.
Can you give me some more info on this swap? Have you done this?

I just did this a two weeks ago. I too went from a 700R4 to a T56. You can probably get away with the auto prom and be OK. I was told that the IAC actionsare different on the manual PROMs. In the manal PROMS the TCC lock-up is zeroed out and I'm sure a few other things are different. I have the equipment to burn PROMs so it wasn't a big deal for me. If I were you I'd see what happens knowing that it a manual chip make make it more driveable when slowing down, idling, etc.

You can e-mail or PM me if you have more Q's.
