Alright i need the low down on Rapotr Transmissions

How do you guys like it? I would LOVE to order from pro-built but i can't wait 3-4 weeks

I'd have my trans rebuilt by a shop but i don't have a good core(long story) so i need to order from someone that sells the actual rebuilt tranny, not just rebuild services.

This will be goign behind a 12-second motor..any experiences...i was planning on going with the Raptor Jr with the upgraded sunshell...need opinions before i order

What tranny did you have? This is a Turbo right? Didn't that have a 200-4R? Is that the (long) story? If you need a 700 and can travel, let me know, I might be able to help you out on that. I have a 200-4R also but not a Turbo application unit.

no i didn't have a 200-4r to begin with. It's too much to swap that tranny in. BFR coded 200-4r's that NEED a rebuild are going for 300-400 bucks, then i have to replace the torque arm and xmember(400 from steve spohn) and i have to get a driveshaft. So i'm lookin at a grand BEFORE a rebuild..and for a good rebuild on a 200-4r is like 1200-1500. That's just crazy

As for as as core..i just think i'm gonna go with a Raptor or something like that...if need be i'll throw a transgo in it...cause i knw u tranny guys swear by it...i just don't know what to do and i'm running out of time...my right to work isn't a lasting to much longer so i need to get my car back on the road ASAP..if i the time to wait i would've already called Dana@Probuilt
