Im getting very bad wheel hop...WHY?
ok my shocks and struts are shot to ****..i havent had time to do the struts but i did the shocks...KYB GR-2 shocks. now when I go around a hard turn that is even slightly uneven i get BAD wheelhop.. think its time for springs to? if i stomp it from a dead stop it spins and right as the spin is about to stop WHAM WHAM WHAM very violent feels like it going to break something...why would changing just the shocks cause this?

Sounds like your bushings are shot. Put in some Urethane bushings in the rear control arms. If the Hop Hop Hop continues you will more than likely blow a U-joint.
i was thinking about just getting a set of sphon LCAs...that would replace the bushing also so it should help. wonder why it didnt do it before? which bushing are you talking about exactly? not the ones on the sway bar? but on the LCA right

I thought the LCA's kept the axle from moving backward or forward and had nothing to do with wheel hop? If it was a leaf spring car i would say you where gettin spring wrap and needed trac bars but its not. You said this only happened when you went to new shocks right? What did it do with the bad shocks..just squat down reall bad? I would say now with the newer shocks your gettin alot of torque load somewhere and is flexing a suspension part...after the part gets so far it snaps back into place causing wheel hop. Might be your LCA's are just plain worn out and flexing really bad...that might cause that. Sounds like you got a good plan goin with the spohn LCA's stonger that stock and poly bushing too. well good luck
with worn out shocks it never did it. i notice that with the car jacked up just enough to get the tire out that i could have removed the springs easily also. i could pull up alittle and it would come off the support......im not sure if the shocks are original but i know the struts and springs are. the KYBs didnt seem that stiff...not enough to cause this anyways. the LCAs bushings look like they have seen better days thats for sure. ill probably go ahead and get springs even tho i was thinking about not. Ill go ahead and get the springs, install them then get the LCAs and new tires. should handle very nicely then.

Im pretty sure your not supposed to be able to take the springs out with out compresing them down some. Was this car lowered at all? If not then i would think the springs are shot.

I doubt springs are your problem, but they could be contributing to it. The flex in the LCA's are the most common cause, worn bushings make it worse. The rear springs will come out pretty easy worn or not.
