2.8L S10 converter
2.8L S10 converter
i havent looked into it a whole lot yet, so excuse me if this is a dumb question. but am i right in thinking that all you would have to do is drill new holes in the flexplate for the 2.8 converter's bolt pattern and it would work then?

If I'm not mistaken, the s10 converter will work as things are.
i know the converters from the 88-later 4.3 S10's will go right into an 88-later f-body, but i had been told that the 2.8 converters wont work. i was just wondering if the flexplate bolt pattern was the only problem, if it even is. dont have my hands on one yet to look at
just curious, what prevents it from being interchangable?
also while on the subject, do the converters from 88-up 4.3s work the same as the 95-newer converter that people usually list the part # for?
