T56?

I have a 406 block, can I do a T56 conversion? Will I have any problems with an offset bolt pattern starter or the 2pc rear main seal?

Thanks

I would love to get an answer to this ? as well. I heard of a internally balanced for 2 piece cranks, but it's prolly a 153 tooth...

I can't find any company that makes a large diameter externally balanced for 2 piece seal flywheel for a factory t56. Is there any hope besides the richmond 6 or the retrofit t56 which use a conventional clutch?

Can be done with no problems, centerforce makes the correct flywheel.

how about getting the crank internally balanced so that you can run a 350 flywheel, and a regular starter. I think the t56 will like that a bit more, but just my .02

Thanks for the input.

The only problem with this I already have invested and installed an forged crank and prefer not pull the motor. This car is my daily driver. Also regarding the starter there is no place to bolt a regular bolt pattern starter. The block is only capable of accepting a offset bolt pattern starter.

87RS402, thanks I will check out centerforce for the correct flywheel. Also do you have any suggestion on where to get the centerforce flywheel.

Thanks

I honestly have no clue where to get it really. I know from past discussions and seeing it their catalog that they make it and it's expensive but beyond that is a mystery to me.
